When Ligi finished his education in furniture making he started fairly quickly in this branch. Making the ornaments on the furniture drew more of his attention and for this reason he started to make beautiful wooden sculptures.

When he started to work with stone sorts like serpentine, soon was realized that he was very talented for this too. Not so long ago Ligi started to make Bronze sculptures. The work of Ligi was soon discovered by others and now he frequently works on assignment.

His specialty are the classic sculptures that are not so frequently found. And he makes a lot of people happy with their town/city or family crest in wood.

Ligi works from Vortum Mullem, a small town in the south of the Netherlands.
